Inner Immersion Association Receives Mental Health Research Grant

Inner Immersion Association (IIA) is a nonprofit organization that advances research in trauma-informed mental health care. IIA is partnering with the Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center at Arizona State University to conduct research to validate the effectiveness of the Inner Immersion Behavioral Health Program. The first phase (summer 2025) is to design an evaluation plan. The second phase (fall 2025) will be to implement the evaluation plan and report on the results. Phase one is made possible by a grant from the William & Emmy Lawrence Fund through the Oregon Community Foundation. This project represents a critical next step in validating an innovative solution to two of the most urgent challenges in mental health: trauma recovery and clinician burnout.
